    This 1970 Jaguar XKE Series II 2+2 is a partially refurbished project that was acquired by the selling dealer in 2026. Its 4.2-liter inline-six was rebuilt under prior ownership and installed in preparation for the sale, and it is linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car was repainted its factory shade of Regency Red and is equipped with a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ wire wheels, a wood-rimmed steering wheel, and air conditioning. This XKE 2+2 is now offered in Virginia at no reserve with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, the owner’s manual, service records, spare and removed parts, and a clean Maryland title.

    The car came finished from the factory in Regency Red and was repainted under prior ownership. The trim, bumpers, lenses, and side rear windows are not installed.

    The 15″ wire wheels are secured by earless knock-offs and are mounted with Yokohama tires measuring 215/70. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors and the car is equipped with power steering.

    The 2+2 cabin features beige leather seats along with a color-coordinated center console and door panels. Additional seats are included in the sale along with a BAS LTD. upholstery kit. The car is equipped with air conditioning.

    The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, and total mileage is unknown.

    The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine was rebuilt over a number of years, and a receipt from the work is provided. It was installed by the selling dealer, though it has not been plumbed or wired.

    Engine stamping 7R38980-9 is listed on the Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate and chassis plate.

    The engine is linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

    The Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate lists the factory colors and serial numbers along with a build date of December 2, 1969.
