This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster was restored under prior ownership and acquired by the seller in 2022. It is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is finished in black over a gray leather interior, and equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ wire wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes. This XKE is now offered in Joplin, Missouri, with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, service records, and a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.

Originally Dark Blue, the car was repainted in its current shade of black in at some point prior to 2010. Features include a replacement black soft top, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets.

The 15″ wire wheels are secured by lobed knock-offs and are mounted with 225/75 American Classic whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The seller notes a vibration at highway speeds and recommends that the wheels be trued.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in gray leather with a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. Appointments include a locking glovebox, a heater, and an AM radio. The carpeting is lifting at the sides.

The steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 81k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory-equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new.

The block stamping 7R1303-9 matches the Jaguar Heritage certificate and the chassis tag.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
