This 1969 Jaguar XKE Series II roadster is a non-running project that was acquired by the seller’s father in 1969. Legal ownership was transferred to the seller in 1994, though the seller’s father retained possession, and the car was taken off the road around 2015 and then disassembled for a planned overhaul. Finished in custom Aqua Blue Green, the vehicle has a 4.2-liter inline-six, a four-speed manual transmission, and a limited-slip differential. This XKE project is now offered in Florida with a collection of removed components, spare parts and supplies, as well as a clean Virginia title in the seller’s name.
The bodywork has been repainted in a metallic aqua blue green. The louvered clamshell hood has been removed and is included in the sale. The removed folding soft top is included in the sale and has been stored in a box. The front windshield was cracked and has been removed. The exterior trim and lights are included in the sale, though the seller notes that the lighting assemblies are cracked.
15″ wire wheels are included in the sale. The car is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The brake fluid was drained approximately 10 years ago, and the calipers close when the brake pedal is depressed but then have to be opened manually. The vehicle is not currently rolling and sits on jack stands.
The cabin has been stripped, and the removed brown leather bucket seats, center console, and door panels are included in the sale. An under-dash air conditioning unit accompanies the car.
The steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5k-rpm redline as well as an analog clock and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was removed and disassembled under current ownership. Work included refinishing the cylinders and engine block before the engine was reinstalled. The engine has not been started, the electrical system is untested, and the intake manifold is not fully installed. The distributor requires replacement and portions of the exhaust system are missing.
The car has a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission fluid was drained prior to storage.
The car is titled by the number 1R8769, which the seller is unable to photograph.

Apart on BaT with approx 43k miles, seems to be original mileage.
