This 1962 Jaguar XKE 3.8 was purchased June of 62 in Denver Co. from the Kumpf Motorcar company. Optional equipment included chrome wire wheels, white side wall competition tires blaupunken radio and seat belts. Owned for 50 years to the day and went through a total restoration in 2012 by Kars British cars in Colorado . Painted in its original color of opalescent silver blue and navy blue leather interior includes a removable hard top. Appraised to100 points after completion, went up for sale and was purchased by its second owner in 2012, to be displayed in his private museum of more than 30 classic cars. Mileage at the time of appraisal in 2012 was 46438 and now shows 46774. This vehicle was started and exercised routinely and was kept in a controlled environment for the last 14 years. At the time restoration it’s noted the engine, suspension and brakes were rebuilt. A beautiful example of the classic XKE in the same condition as the day it was restored, is now available
