Bonhams Auction 8/17/2002 lot #306.
Same owner for past 27 years. Complete restoration in 1999. Modified engine accessories. Concours-level undercarriage. Recent high-quality repaint. Panel fit good overall. Very good interior, though the dash trim is a bit scruffy.

Sold at Barrett-Jackson, West Palm Beach FL. April 2005 $108K. Exterior good to very good. Underhood "improvements" include replacement radiator, K&N filters, braided fuel lines, etc. This writer viewed car at Park Place and considers $108K as overpriced.

This E-type is an absolutely stunning showpiece that can be driven right into your collection, or can act as your collection entirely. A ground-up restoration has been performed on this roadster to bring it to a glory now that surpasses what it would have been like new. The Sapphire Blue paint is complimented by grey Connelly hides over the original bucket seats now piped in dark blue. The brand new custom cut Stay Fast top is dark blue and features a matching boot cover with grey piping to mirror the look of the interior. The engine has been completely rebuilt and polished and now boasts three giant side-draft Webers a la the Jaguar race cars of the period. A full stainless exhaust from headers to tail pipes, Mallory high-performance electricals, lightened alloy flywheel, and aluminum radiator are some of the upgraded performance features on this cat, along with racing bushings in the entire suspension and adjustable torsion bars. With such beautiful lines and superb performance, XKEs are first-rate collectibles and always have a loyal and active following. Do not miss spectacular example.

Up for sale is probably one of the nicest 1964 Jaguar type-e XKE I've owned. A lot has been invested in this build. This car received a full restoration. I have over 200 Pictures! Underneath is probably one of the nicest in Florida. You can compare it to others that are for sale, I doubt the underneath was done like mine. Clean Florida title.
The car did receive a full restoration that was completely taken apart and built into what it is today. Underneath you'll see the floor pans are really nice as well as the frame. Look at underneath the doors and door jams etc lot of attention to detail has been placed in this build. Just for a restoration these days for something like this is easily $200K+. All work was done by previous ownership.
The Sapphire Blue paint is complimented by grey Connelly hide over the original bucket seats now piped in dark blue. The Brand new custom cut Stay Fast top is dark blue and features a matching boot cover with grey piping to a mirror look of the interior. Has 3-Spoke Wood Trimmed Steering Wheel!
During the restoration process it received all new mounts, new door seals, all new chrome pieces, new window, new weather stripping, all new lights, Chrome bumpers, grill, gas tank, screws & nut and bolts, window mechanisms, rebuilding the engine, and overhauling the brakes, suspension, and fuel system, and more...Has Front Disc brakes and rear disc brakes!
The 3.8L engine has been rebuilt and polished and now boasts three giant side-draft Webbers a la Jaguar race cars of the period. A full stainless exhaust from headers to tail pipes, Mallory high-performance ignition electricals, Lightened alloy flywheel, and aluminum radiator are some of the important modifications should be done on XKE's. Also has upgraded bushings, in the entire suspension and adjustable torsion bars. A lot of detail has been spent on the engine compartment. Polished OEM Jaguar heads. Knock off wire wheels!
