The cabin was overhauled in the 1980s and features later-production Series 1 bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior appointments include black vinyl dash trim, three-point seatbelts, a cassette stereo, and a heater. The current owner purchased the car in 2022.
The car is accompanied by copies of service records dating back to 1989, written histories outlining ownership, and copies of various ownership documents. Also included are four 15×5″ chrome wire wheels, a bottle jack and knockoff mallet, a second jack with a slip case, service and parts manuals, various spare parts, the removed center front bumper bar, a Jaguar operating manual, and two sets of keys.
The 3.8-liter inline-six features triple SU carburetors and was factory rated at 265 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. A Ron Davis aluminum radiator, an electric fan, and a modern gear-driven starter have been installed. The cylinder head gasket was replaced during a welding repair of the cooling port fissures in 2025.
