This 1970 Jaguar XKE is a Series II roadster that is finished in Willow Green and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six linked to a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car is equipped with a black soft top and top boot, a louvered clamshell hood, four-wheel disc brakes, and 15″ wire wheels with three-eared knock-offs. Inside, appointments include a wood-rimmed steering wheel, a Clarion radio, and beige leather upholstery. This XKE roadster was acquired by the current owner in 2024 and is now offered on their behalf with a Kansas title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Willow Green and is equipped with a black soft top and top boot as well as sealed-beam open headlights, a driver-side mirror, wraparound chrome bumpers, a louvered clamshell hood, and dual exhaust outlets. A repair has been made to the right side of the soft top, and the rear window is discolored.
Wire-spoke 15″ wheels are secured by three-eared knock-offs and are mounted with Coker Classic redline tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs with inboard-mounted rear rotors.
The bucket seats are upholstered in beige leather, and the cabin has color-coordinated door panels and carpets. A Clarion radio is installed in the black dashboard.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 35k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter inline-six was factory equipped with dual Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and rated at 246 horsepower and 263 lb-ft of torque when new.
The engine is backed by a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The current Kansas title lists the VIN as 1R13149, omitting the “P” shown in the car number above, and the title carries an “Antique” vehicle brand.
