1969 JAGUAR E-Type 4.2 2+2

Estimation 20 000 - 30 000 €

Collector’s registration document Chassis no. P1R43034BW American origin - Serviced in 2026 - Same owner since 2004 - Power steering

This 1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 2+2 is of American origin, as confirmed by its configuration featuring side marker lights on the wings and a twin-carburettor set-up. The exterior paintwork is in a good state of preservation. The interior retains its original patina. The 4.2-litre engine is still paired with its automatic gearbox, as originally fitted. This vehicle was imported in 1993, and the current owner has owned it for 22 years. It underwent a service in April 2026 costing 4,000 euros, which included the replacement of the rear brake linings and the replacement of wear parts in the automatic gearbox. This service was carried out by Etoile Services garage. The MOT has failed, notably due to a problem with the parking brake. A timeless icon of British motoring, this example allows you to enjoy this legendary car with your family, whilst benefiting from the modern driving comfort provided by the automatic gearbox and power steering.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
