Dark Blue with Biscuit leather, Tan Wilton carpeting, Tan folding soft top, 5.3 Liter V12 engine, 4 speed manual gearbox, Collector owned, Serviced and maintained regardless of cost. Sold new through British Leyland, New York, USA. Although early history is unknown, although when purchased by Autosport Designs, Inc., March 2021 for its most recent owner, the well-known and respected selling dealer mentioned its being one-owner from new and upon inspection, this V12 Roadster certainly seemed as such. This V12 Roadster had certainly been well cared for and cherished from new. In the era it was common for many of these V12 Roadsters to have been ordered with automatic transmission, no air conditioning, and common colors such as British Racing Green, Signal Red, Old English White, Regency Red (Burgundy), Silver and Primrose Yellow. This particular E-type V12 Roadster order with 4-speed manual, optional air conditioning and the rare Dark Blue exterior color. The only other shade of Blue being Azure Blue metallic which was most probably the rarest V12 Roadster on the factory color pallet. Since March 2021 and while in its most recent ownership, this V12 Roadster received over $65,000 of sympathetic restoration, servicing and maintenance by Autosport Designs, inc. to bring this particular E-type to its current, outstanding condition throughout. All records are available. It has benefitted from many, many upgrades. These upgrades have included: European bumper conversion to remove the 1974 USA specification rubber bumpers that protruded from the body work and which ruined the E-types lines, a Motolita wood sport steering wheel, Jaguar classic modern stereo head unit as well as a full ceramic coating. The result is one enthusiast collectors care and expense over the last five years to bring this V12 Roadster to absolutely superb condition throughout. As one of the last of the breed, this Series 3 E-Type presents in excellent condition in all areas, cosmetically, mechanically and structurally. It comes complete with tool roll, jack, hammer, knock off tool, books, Jaguar heritage certificate, service records and is ready for immediate use and enjoyment or show. On offer is a very rare and handsome color combination, not often seen within Jaguar circles.
