This 1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III roadster is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The car underwent cosmetic restoration under previous ownership and is finished in Regency Red with a black soft top over Biscuit leather and rides on 15” knock-off wire wheels coupled with disc brakes at all four corners. Further equipment includes power steering and quadruple Zenith-Stromberg carburetors along with an AM/FM radio and air conditioning.
A detailed list of the extensive, recent work performed is at the end of the gallery. We spent several months and thousands and thousands of dollars preparing the car. We worked on the engine, suspension, brake system, electrical, and more.
There are no current, known drivability issues on the car, everything we came across we addressed. It is a 52 year old car, that starts up easily and is ready to be enjoyed.
Service in 2025 included overhauling the brakes and repacking the front wheel bearings as well as replacing the high-pressure power steering hose, lower ball joints, outer tie-rod ends, and inner tie-rod assemblies. The air conditioning system was recharged and the rocker switches for the blower motor and dash lights were replaced under current ownership.
