Ebay item 1/4/10
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-E-Type-1974-Jaguar-Roadster-E-Type-XKE-BRG-2-Tops ...
Current bid $7,800 reserve not met, 5 bids 9 days left in auction. Beverly Hills, California
Sellers description:
1974 Jaguar E-type OTS Roadster with air conditioning and the very rare and sought after hardtop!! This Jag had had a restoration started by an older gentleman who became sick and was not able to finish restoring the car. When we bought this Jaguar it had been in storage for about a year and the last thing that had been done was the new paint, which is fairly new.
This E-type will be an incredible car with a little bit of love. I believe that the original color is (BRG) British Racing Green and that is what it was repainted in.
The interior looks nice, and the door panels are in nice shape too. The gauge cluster looks nice and clean and the dash is in great condition. The original spare also comes with the car and some miscellaneous parts too.
Mechanically, this '74 V12 will need to be gone through, the engine turns and cranks but I would imagine that you will need to drain the gas tank, put new plugs, wires, cap and a new battery and go from there. The air conditioning unit is attached to the car, it seems like everything is there it will just need to be given some TLC.

Lot #219178
This 1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III roadster is a non-running project that spent time in California and Tennessee and had sat unused since 2012 before the selling dealer purchased it from an estate in mid-2024. Finished in British Racing Green over tan leather, the car is equipped with a 5.3-liter V12, a four-speed manual transmission, and a limited-slip differential as well as a black removable hardtop, a black convertible top, bright wheels and hubcaps, and an AM/FM radio. The vehicle has not been operated since at least 2012, the brakes do not work, and some parts are missing. This E-Type project is now offered in Texas at no reserve with spare parts and a clean Tennessee title.
The car has been repainted in British Racing Green, according to the seller. Features include a black removable hardtop, a black convertible top, uncovered headlights, a forward-hinged louvered hood, a driver-side mirror, and chrome bumpers. The bumper overriders are missing. Rust is noted at the passenger-side rocker panel and also in the trunk floor.
Chrome-finished 15″ steel wheels feature polished covers and are mounted with 205/70 Pirelli radial tires. The seller states that the vehicle rolls and steers but the brakes are inoperative.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in tan leather. Appointments include color-coordinated door panels as well as a British Leyland–branded AM/FM radio, a heater, and a glovebox. Some of the carpeting is missing, as is the shifter.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. An analog clock along with auxiliary gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level are positioned at the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles.
The 5.3-liter V12 has been partially disassembled. It is unknown when the engine was started most recently, and the seller states that it can be turned over.
The four-speed manual transmission is linked to a limited-slip differential. Corrosion is noted on underbody components.
