Ex pat Brit. Retired pilot. Have a series 2 E Type, and just replaced my XK 8 with a low mileage original Series 3 EType 2 + 2 for restoration. Perhaps could be described as enjoying Jaguars.

Varied small collection includes: '57 Isetta, '57 Chrysler 300C, '71 Pantera

Just recently started this hobby and have much to learn.
I'm born 1972, living in Denmark, educated as M.Sc.E.E. and MBA, working as Product Manager for mobile phones development.

I have owned 3 Series 1 E-types over the past 20 years and I finally have a keeper. My '67 series 1 roadster looks great and runs great with new paint on a rust free body, new leather interior and a rebuilt engine. I rebuilt the engine myself after it swallowed a valve while running at 40 mph in 4th gear. I installed the Bartlett's interior myself as well. A professional shop sprayed the black paint, so now I have a dependable "triple black " roadster. The suspension has been fully restored as well. The car still has the original wiring which has not given me any problems. The car is very dependable and I drive it 20-30 miles every weekend.
People ask me if I show it and I say "Yeah, at 60 mph while cruisin' down the highway".

This is my second E-type, my first was a S1 3.8 FHC RHD, regd. APB 22B which I owned from 1986 to 2004. My current E-type is a S2 Roadster RHD, one of only 775 genuine RHD models. I acquired this car in 2006. I've carried out lots of work including many upgrades.

I purchased the car in April 2019 and are in the process of having it rebuilt to show condition

I have owned this vehicle since 1968 - fun car to drive and own, but it is one that you have to keep on top of - as such, did a clutch two years ago, rebuilt the carb's, and other mod's to keep it running

Car collector since 1999. Have owned as many as 6 Jags, now down to two E-Types, a 65 OTS, and a 67 FHC. Also have an 07 Ferrari F430 Spider, an 09 Bentley Arnage T, and a 06 Maserati Grand Sport Spider. There is a Harley tucked somewhere in the back of the garage.

Retired radio technician

Car was a runner and in reasonably good shape, but a few niggles needed sorting. One thing led to another and now undergoing a full restoration. DIY as much as possible, Engine at engineers for some serious overhaul work, but I'll reassemble. Body still being stripped ready for a thorough assessment and probable strip and rebuild. Wish me luck...

I found my XKE in a field in rural Oklahoma. Looking forward to the journey with the old cat. It will be a change from the muscle/classics I restore on a daily basis.

My wife and I live in Overland park with two kids, a dog, the E and a soon to be complete concours restoration of a '62 Austin healey 3000 BT7. My first British car was a '67 Sprite that my Dad and I restored to driver level as my very first car.

Bought my car 2013 from previous owner who had owned it for 32 years.

Purchased xk150 in 1986 in pieces following 1973 purchase and dissassembly by PO. Restoration complete for first JCNA Concours in 1995.\
